September 14, 2019 was the last points tournament for Westchester Rod & Reel Bassmasters. With the 2020 season paused, and after 588 days, tournament fishing at the club is officially on its way. 11 participants on seven boats started the trail in Danbury on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
A five-fish bag weighing in at 15.25 pounds was more than plenty for Frank Giner’s first place win. Rich Russell with a limit at 10.35 pounds earned him second place. Vincent Mutarelli brings only three bass to the scales, but enough to place him at third with 8.92 pounds. No tournament is complete without lunker, and George Puskar brings in the first big fish of the season with a 4.97 pound fish.
Congrats to all, and welcome back!
